Harris County Judge race: Democrats Plummer and Parker go head-to-head, as do Republicans Sanchez and Howell

HOUSTON — The field of candidates vying to take over the seat being vacated by Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo will be cut in half after Tuesday’s primary election runoffs.

There are two Democrats and two Republicans who advanced to runoff elections after failing to secure 50 percent of the vote in the March 3 primary.
